The ABCNW is constantly looking for effective pastors throughout the American Baptist Churches, USA, to join us in our vision of “Growing Healthy, Mission-focused Churches That Multiply Disciples and Churches.” It has been said that “everything rises and falls on leadership”, and we are finding this to be exceptionally true in today’s cultural context.  To that end we wish to attract the most effective pastors in America to our Region.

We have discovered that we can best serve our churches and you by having more information than is usually contained in most profiles or resumes.  Here is a list of materials which are needed for review:

1.  A current ABPS Profile and/or Resume  (see ABPS News)

2.  Supplementary Questionnaire

3.  ABCNW Common Essentials

4.  ABCNW Resolution on Human Sexuality

5.  Covenant and Code of Ethics

6.  Self-Disclosure and Release Form

7.  A recent audio or videotape

As an American Baptist, you know that our Regional Staff is here simply to advise and assist.  God will be in charge of placing you where you are needed most.  All authority, legal responsibility and accountability rests with the local church.
