An Annual Leadership Training Event
ABC Northwest’s 7th Annual All Region Leadership Conference will be September 27th-29th at Ross Point Camp & Conference Center in Post Falls, ID. The conference begins with lunch on Monday and concludes with breakfast on Wednesday. This leadership training event for pastors, their spouses, church staff and leaders, provides opportunities for meeting new friends, networking, worship, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

J.P. Moreland
(Ph.D., USC; Th.M., Dallas Theological Seminary) is one of the leading evangelical thinkers of our day as a prolific philosopher, theologian and Christian apologist. He is a Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the Talbot School of Theology and director of Eidos Christian Center.
With degrees in philosophy, theology and chemistry, Dr. Moreland has taught theology and philosophy at several schools throughout the United States. He has authored or coauthored over forty books, including Philosophical Foundation for a Christian Worldview, Scaling the Secular City, Does God Exist?, The Lost Virtue of Happiness and The Kingdom Triangle.
Dr. Moreland served ten years with Campus Crusade for Christ, planted two churches, and has spoken on over 200 college campuses, in hundreds of churches, and over 25 debates.
Jim Purves
is pastor of Bistro Baptist Church in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is the second oldest Baptist Church in Scotland (founded 1765). However, they are not stuck in the past, rather, they are engaging this post-modern world. The church is alive with modern worship celebrations and solid Biblical education on Sundays. They meet as cell church and for prayer during the week. Dr. Purves is leading the church through numerous creative ministries which will provide excellent ideas for the ABCNW churches to study. Jim is married to Jennifer, has two adult children, and has been a pastor for 30 years. He has been pastor of Bistro Baptist Church for 16 years. He also serves on the denominational board of the Scottish Baptist Union, and as a research tutor at the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague, Czech Republic.
